His work is at the nexus of Talent, Tech & Capital for social impact. He has led Impact Hub Accra’s growth to become Accra’s premier startup hotspot with a diverse community of 250  members and over 1700sqm of progressively green workspaces under management.

William  Senyo is a board member of Social Enterprise Ghana who  is no urban planner but he is trying to build a city within a city. A sort of digital paradise sheltered from the disorder and uncertainty and unpredictability of modern life in Accra.

He says slow Internet, power outages, and a shortage of space to collaborate is hampering businesses. So he set out to fix it and his team are focused on transforming spaces all across Osu Ako Adjei into activated living and work spaces where different local and global ecosystem players converge to engage Ghana’s vibrant young entrepreneurs.

He has led teams to raise capital from a mix of investors and donors, including the Rockefeller Foundation, Tony Elumelu Foundation, the Danish Government and the US Government’s Broadcasting Board of Governors. He is co-convener of the Social Enterprise Ghana, working to build a robust social enterprise ecosystem. William is a World Economic Forum Global Shaper and serves on the taskforce drafting the first Social Enterprise Policy for the Government of Ghana.
