Whilst there is an an active government agenda to provide jobs, strengthen the private sector and ensure Ghana achieves the SDGs, there remain significant gaps when it comes to funding these initiative.
To create a fund for Social Enterprises and other SMEs in Ghana, Social Enterprise Ghana would like to conduct a consultative workshop on the 12th of October, 2018 to;
- Mobilize local funding to invest in growing social enterprise that can deliver jobs and solve pertinent social problems in Ghana .
- Attract matching foreign especially from impact investors to help these businesses expand further.
- Build a pipeline of new business who could be candidate for growth funding.
The workshop will be facilitated by Gordon Adomdza and David Hutchful of Design Thinking Ghana and Ashesi University.
