Social Enterprise Ghana (https://www.seghana.net/) is the national network of high impact social enterprises operating in Ghana. A social enterprise is an organization that uses business strategies to achieve social and environmental goals alongside profit, however, the focus of the organization should be social impact first, profits second.
Founded in 2016, our mandate is to bring together all the players in the social enterprise sector to build a stronger social enterprise ecosystem and increase its impact. Social Enterprise Ghana advocates for business friendly policies for social enterprises and supports them access skills, market and finance.

Position Summary 
Reporting to the Executive Director (ED), the Program Manager- Network Management and Program Design will have the responsibility of mobilizing active members into its network, retaining existing members and delivering support services to members to enable them to grow their organisations and impact. The Program Manager will also be responsible for program design especially for fundraising purposes to drive the mission of SE Ghana. 
 
Network Management: 
Member Mobilisation: Lead SE Ghana to mobilise social enterprises and other key ecosystem players to join Social Enterprise Ghana and work together to develop a stronger eco-system for the growth of social enterprises in Ghana. 

Member Engagement: Actively engage and energize SE Ghana’s members, leadership team, action groups. Connect the social enterprise ecosystem; to learn from each other’s experiences  through country and regional face-to-face meetings and an on-line network and execute programs that enable members to grow their organisations and impact.

Learning and Innovation: Understand the needs of social enterprises and organise and supervise training events and workshops for members and the social enterprise community. 


Administration: Put in place proper systems for recruiting, billing, onboarding, training and other support for members and create and manage any member certification process.

Program Design

Support development of programs and funding proposals for projects in a timely manner

Build partnerships with funders and donors to support programmes of SE Ghana and drive investment into members and social enterprises.

Recruit and manage interns and other program staff to support execution of these programs.

Key Requirements: 
5+ years of responsible project management positions, with a record of relevant accomplishments in the business and/or nonprofit sector.
Knowledge or experience working with social entrepreneurs or knowledge on current thinking and practices in the field of social entrepreneurship. 
Excellent proposal writing, fundraising and communication skills
University degree especially in business, economics, finance, public administration, fundraising, project management or a related discipline. 
Excellent project management skills and an ability to manage multiple, sometimes conflicting priorities and work cooperatively to build networks and satisfy the needs of internal and external stakeholders. 
Good computer skills and familiarity with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) 
Spoken and written fluency in English. 
Readiness for some travel. 
 Experience of working with web applications and social media platforms.
